On July 23rd, I am hosting an event called 52 FEST, in Woodbridge New Jersey, to benefit Eric Legrand, a young player for Rutgers who was paralyzed during the 2010 season.
The benefit will feature an array of musical talents including : Vinnie Caruana (the Movie Life/I Am the Avalanche), Socratic, The Ugly Club, Chocolate Bread, and many more. Proceeds will go towards renovations to Eric’s house including a handicapped ramp, bathroom, and an additional room.
We will also be having raffles, with prizes such as a Boston Celtics 2010-2011 Autographed Team Basketball, a Grant Hill Autographed Photograph, a Lamarcus Aldridge Autographed Bobblehead Doll, Live Nation VIP Concert Tickets, Mets Tickets w/ a day at Batting Practice with the team, Red Bulls Tickets and much more.
You can get tickets HERE, and if you can’t make it, you can donate online to this awesome cause HERE

please re-blog and spread the word, it would mean a lot to us.
A few months ago I stumbled upon a website called “DesignersMX,” which asks designers “what music fuels your creativity?” They hand select designers to create a mix and design its cover. Other designers then listen to these mixes for inspiration as they design. Pretty sweet, right?
Two weeks ago, I was lucky enough to get asked to submit a mix to DesignersMX. Even though I’ve had the chance to work on some pretty awesome projects before, I’ve never had 100% control on a project that I was so excited to begin. In the end, it was a great experience, and hopefully they ask me to do another one soon. Maybe next time, I won’t have such a difficult time narrowing the mix down to 10 songs.
If you like to drive down to the beach with the windows down, enjoy some throwback hip-hop, as well as some fast stuff, then this mix is for you.
It has over 1,600 listens since Friday, so check it out, and feel free to re-blog! Enjoy.
