Last night was painful to watch. Hell, with the exception of Saturday night, this whole series has been.
While other NBA fans are worried about the whole Laker’s team being a bunch of pathetic sore losers, or the new tattoo that Derrick Rose got on his hand, my mind has been focused on our starting point guard only being able to play with one arm, and Garnett, a future hall of famer, having games like last night during the playoffs.
Critics can say what they want - “the Celtics are old,” “the Celtics are washed up,” “the Celtics are beaten up.” But at the end of the day the Celtics need to ask themselves, “Do we want this?” If we play the way we played Saturday night, there is no way that the Heat can beat us. As I’m sure you all have too, I’ve seen some pretty miraculous things in my life, and when you think about it, a basketball team winning 3 games in a row doesn’t really seem like that incredible of a task to be performed.
Even if you guys don’t want it, get Shaq that ring to rub in Kobe’s face.
Tomorrow. Nobody text me. Nobody call me. My night is booked. CELTICS.
